New Delhi: A platform focused on menopause awareness and support has launched an initiative to expand access to evidence-based education, expert guidance, community engagement and workplace sensitisation programmes for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.

The platform, ResetWell Plus, aims to build a comprehensive ecosystem by bringing together doctors, gynaecologists, psychologists, nutritionists, fitness experts, wellness practitioners, HR leaders and women's health advocates to improve awareness and support for women across different stages of menopause.

According to global estimates, more than 1.1 billion women are currently in perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause, while India has over 100 million menopausal women.

Nearly 80 per cent of women experience menopause-related symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression, fatigue and brain fog, studies suggest.

"Perimenopause and menopause are among the most significant, yet least understood phases of a woman's life," said Swati Singh, co-founder of ResetWell Plus.

"For generations, women have suffered in silence because they were never given the knowledge, language or support to understand what was happening to their bodies and minds. We are replacing silence with science, stigma with awareness and isolation with community," she said.

Her co-founder, Reshma Tiwari, said menopause should be viewed not only as a healthcare issue, but also as a workplace, family and economic priority, noting that better support could help retain experienced women in the workforce and improve overall wellbeing.

Tiwari said the platform plans to drive awareness through webinars, workshops, podcasts, corporate wellness initiatives, HR sensitisation programmes and community outreach while offering personalised hormonal and non-hormonal wellness support.
