Lionel Messi became the all-time top scorer at any men's or women's World Cup when he scored his 18th goal in Argentina's game against Austria on Monday.
He was tied with Brazil women's striker Marta after earlier netting the opener against Austria.
On the men's list Messi is now two goals ahead of Germany's Miroslav Klose with Brazil great Ronaldo on15 goals.
