The war between Russia and Ukraine has been continuing since 2022.

The attack with ballistic and cruise missiles and drones affected all of the city's 10 districts.

The Ufa refinery is one of Russia's largest producers of lubricants and is located more than 1,000 kilometres from Ukraine, Zelenskyy said on social media.

The announcement has been made at a conference on Ukraine's post-war recovery in Gdansk, Poland.

The overnight attack hit the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant, which is part of a complex that also houses the only helium plant in Russia.

The Ukrainian General Staff said it had used air-launched cruise missiles to hit the facility, which it described as a "critical component" in Russia's defence production.

Ukrainian Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov, on Saturday, said on Telegram that there had been nine strikes in the city of Zaporizhzhia
