Looking for a quick, wholesome snack packed with fresh vegetables? This no-maida, no-bake vegetable roll is made with a simple wheat flour wrap and a crunchy veggie filling, making it a healthy and satisfying option for breakfast, lunch or an evening snack.
Ingredients
For the wrap
- 4 cups wheat flour
- 1–2 cups water (as required)
- Salt, to taste
- 1 cube butter
For the filling
- 1–2 lettuce leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp carrot, cut into tiny cubes
- 1 tbsp zucchini, cut into tiny cubes
- 1 tbsp tomato, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp sweet corn kernels
- 1 tbsp garlic mayonnaise
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- Salt, to taste
Method
Prepare the wraps
- In a bowl, combine the wheat flour and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add water and whisk until you get a smooth, lump-free batter with a dosa-like consistency.
- Lightly grease a dosa pan with butter.
- Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly.
- Cook until the underside turns golden, then flip and cook the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make more wraps.
Prepare the filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the lettuce, carrot, zucchini, tomato and sweet corn.
- Add the garlic mayonnaise, Italian seasoning and chilli flakes.
- Mix well and season with salt if required.

Assemble the rolls
- Place a portion of the vegetable filling in the centre of each wrap.
- Roll it tightly and serve immediately.
